SIR NICHOLAS WINTON

Sir Nicholas Winton, a British humanitarian and remarkable figure of the 20th century, is best known for his heroic efforts during World War II. Often referred to as the "British Schindler," Winton saved the lives of over 600 children from the clutches of the Holocaust between 1938 and 1939. 

His incredible story of courage, compassion, and selflessness is closely intertwined with the White Wolf House, where he collaborated with Marie Schmolková in organizing the rescue missions. His stay and partnership with Schmolková at the White Wolf House have left an enduring legacy of hope and humanity. 

Sir Nicholas Winton was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2003 for his extraordinary humanitarian contributions.

Additionally, Winton's life and actions have been immortalized in the 2023 film "One Life," further cementing his remarkable legacy.
